About this walkthrough
Banjo-Kazooie (1998) is Rare's 3D platform game for the Nintendo 64. The witch Gruntilda kidnaps Banjo's little sister Tooty, because she wants to steal her beauty with a machine. Banjo the bear and Kazooie, the bird who lives in his backpack, set out to stop her.
The road to the top of Gruntilda's Lair runs through nine worlds, such as Mumbo's Mountain, Treasure Trove Cove and Click Clock Wood. In each world you collect Jiggies to complete the puzzles in the lair, and musical notes to open the doors. Bottles the mole teaches you new moves along the way, and Mumbo Jumbo turns the pair into other creatures.
Before the final fight you have to pass Grunty's Furnace Fun, a quiz about everything you have seen. The game returned on Xbox 360 in 2008 and later in Rare Replay.
